GUIDE WHAT TO KNOW
Physical examination
WHAT IS IT ABOUT? It is a basic, most common examination, but very important. It consists of
(sight, feel, tap and listening).
Histology
A small piece of tissue is taken from the patient, which is then processed and examined under a microscope. The examination is more complex and takes several days.
Mammogram
Mammographic screening or "mammogram" is an examination that can detect even very small tumors in the breast and is used for preventive screening.
Blood analysis
It determines the current state of the organism – levels of sugars, fats, enzymes, and proteins, which reveal the beginning of a problem or the extent of an ongoing disease.
Cytology
Cytological examination is similar to histology, but with the help of a microscope, we do not examine the entire tissue sample, but only dispersed individual cells.
Biopsy
Biopsy is the collection of living tissue. Don't worry, only a small piece is taken, usually from the tumor itself, so that we can determine how the tumor developed and properly plan the treatment.
